The importance of Goals and Gratitude ♡

This weekend I've enjoyed a pretty chilled one. I've had one wedding yesterday, and work-wise, nothing else. While obviously I love to be busy, this weekend has allowed me the time to reflect on my little business, one which I set up in December 2016 not really knowing where it would take me or what I would do!! At the beginning of this year, I set myself a goal to do 50 weddings in 2019. While this is quite a goal, I believe in aiming high!! And so far, I have a total of 36 confirmed weddings for this year. Now, this isn't the 50 I hoped for... BUT it is a continued growth year on year ( I did 15 weddings in 2017 and 23 in 2018) and I know from experience that there is still time for more lovely brides to book for this year! Am I disappointed to have not achieved 50 so far? Not at all. I would have been disappointed if I hadn't have set myself a goal though, as I think without this you dont push to grow, dont challenge yourself and dont get outside your comfort zone! My challenge this year has been to have to confidence in my hair abilities, and since doing so much hair this year realise how much I love doing it. So much so that I've booked another hair course that I'll be doing in a couple of weeks that i cant wait to share with you all ♡ So thankyou... to all my lovely customers, to all my lovely brides who trust in me for the most important day of their lives, to all my lovely trans ladies who trust me and allow me into a very special part of their lives, to anyone that likes, comments or shares my posts, anyone that has supported me personally and to anyone who has taken the time to read this!! You dont quite know how privileged I feel to be a part of these moments with such special people. I truely am doing something I love and am passionate about. And any support I receive is taking me closer and closer to that goal I set! So for now it's back to the BBQ that we are braving, back to my little family of husband and dog, and maybe a little gin to bring the weekend in. And onwards and upwards to my 50!!! Vic xxx
